To send us email by clicking on our email address link in our contacts page when JavaScript is disabled in your browser, click on our email address link in our contacts page. Then follow the two steps outlined below:


In your email program (or web browser-based email service), enter in to the right of  To:

As an alternative to manually typing in our email address, you can enable JavaScript in your web browser.
Or you can always add our email address to your email address book.

Instructions for enabling JavaScript in various browsers

To contact us by clicking on our email address link in our contacts page while avoiding the need to manually enter our email address, JavaScript ("Active Scripting" for Internet Explorer) must be enabled in your web browser. (Liability disclaimer)  This is done through your browser properties page. Information on how to do this in some web browsers is provided below. Please note also that any browser with the NoScript plug-in enabled (or similar software) would need to have scripts for crbrophy.com allowed to be able to click directly on our email address link. If your browser is not listed, please visit the site of the company that provides your particular browser and search for "enable JavaScript." For an alternative to enabling JavaScript, see the top of this page.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x+

  1. On the menu bar click on "Tools" then "Internet Options"
  2. From Internet Options, select the "Security" tab
  3. Click "Custom Level"
  4. Scroll down to "Scripting," make sure "Active Scripting" is set to Enable
  5. Click "OK"
  6. Click "Yes" or "OK" when asked, "Are sure you wish to change the security settings for this zone"
  7. Click "OK" on the Internet Properties window
  8. Close all open Internet Explorer windows and then relaunch Internet Explorer

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x

  1. On the menu bar click on "Tools" then "Internet Options"
  2. Click on the "Security" tab
  3. Click "Custom Level" button
  4. Scroll down to "Scripting," section
  5. Set "Active Scripting" to "Enable"
  6. Click "OK" on the Internet Properties window
  7. Close all open Internet Explorer windows and then relaunch Internet Explorer

Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x

  1. On the menu bar click on "View" then "Internet Options"
  2. Click on the "Advanced" tab
  3. Scroll down to "Scripting," section
  4. Set "Active Scripting" to "Enable"
  5. Click "OK"
  6. Click "Yes" or "OK"
  7. Click "OK" on the Internet Properties window
  8. Close all open Internet Explorer windows and then relaunch Internet Explorer

Mozilla Firefox 4.x+

  1. Click on the "Firefox" tab in the upper left corner of the browser and then click on "Options"
    (If you have a menu bar, click on "Tools" instead)
  2. Click on "Options" selection (for the second time if you don't have a menu bar)
  3. Click on the "Content" Option
  4. Click on the checkbox to the left of "Enable JavaScript"
  5. Click "OK"

Mozilla Firefox 1.5.x-3.6.x

  1. On the menu bar click on "Tools" then "Options"
  2. Click on the "Content" Option
  3. Click on the checkbox to the left of "Enable JavaScript"
  4. Click "OK"

Mozilla Firefox 1.0.x

  1. On the menu bar click on "Tools" then "Options"
  2. Click on the "Web Features" Option
  3. Click on the checkbox to the left of "Enable JavaScript"
  4. Click "OK"

Mozilla Suite

  1. On the menu bar click on "Edit" then "Preferences" then "Advanced"
  2. Next click "Scripts & Plugins" then "Enable JavaScript for"
  3. Click on the checkbox labeled "Navigator"
  4. Click "OK"

Google Chrome

  1. Click on wrench icon (Customize and control Google Chrome)
  2. Click on "Settings" in the drop-down menu
  3. Click on "Under the Hood" from the Settings menu on the left side of the window
  4. Click on "Content Settings"
  5. In the JavaScript section, click on the radio button on the line which displays "Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended)"

Netscape Communicator 4.x

  1. Select "Preferences" from the Edit menu
  2. Find the "Enable JavaScript" section in the "Advanced" category
  3. Select "Enable JavaScript"
  4. Click "OK"
  5. Close all open Netscape windows and then relaunch Netscape

Opera 10.x+

  1. Click on the "O" at the top left of the browser
  2. Click on Settings from the drop-down menu
  3. Select "Preferences"
  4. Click on the "Advanced" tab
  5. Click "Content"
  6. Select "Enable JavaScript"
  7. Click "OK"

Opera 9.x

  1. Select "Preferences" from the Tools menu
  2. Click on the "Advanced" tab
  3. Click "Content"
  4. Select "Enable JavaScript"
  5. Click "OK"

Apple Safari 1.0+

  1. Select "Edit" (or "Safari") from the top menu
  2. Choose "Preferences"
  3. Choose "Security"
  4. Select the checkbox next to "Enable JavaScript"

Please keep in mind that upgrading your browser or installing new security software or security patches may affect your JavaScript settings. It is a good idea to double-check that JavaScript is still enabled if you notice problems in sending email. Additionally, if your JavaScript setting is set to "Prompt", you may encounter a warning about downloading potentially dangerous scripts from any website that uses JavaScript -- including ours. If you are still experiencing problems sending us email after ensuring that JavaScript is enabled in your browser, please check if you have any personal firewall or security software installed. If you can't or prefer not to enable JavaScript, see the top of this page for instructions on how to send us email with JavaScript disabled.
